It was great watching the boat berth at all the jetties to deliver mail and groceries. The skipper gave excellent commentaries. We were lucky because it was a sunny day.

We took the Royal mail cruise in early March, fortunately the weather was fine and the water was flat making for a smooth ride, the Captain's onboard commentary was very informative as we stopped at several places to drop off supplies, the staff are friendly. The Island is just beautiful, We swam at Ladys bay, a short walk from Mansion house and the walf, The walking trails are well maintained and easy walking for reasonable able people. We would definitely recommend this activity. 👍🙂

A fantastic day out. Beautiful views of the Mahurangi harbor and a special glimpse into life on secluded Kawau Island as you deliver mail and goods to the homes' private docks. And the governor's mansion on the island is amazing...as is the coffee at the cafe and the company provided by the local peacocks. Look for GraboOne discounts. Not to be missed!!

A super day away from the crowded places. This is a leisurely day trip with a stop of at Kawau Island Mansion House. What an amazing house it was and is. The birds that stop by to say hello are beautiful, the old trees and gardens are amazing. We just loved the entire trip really. What is great is that the boat pulls into jetty's to drop supplies off to folks on the island and you get a glimpse of their lives on the island. Very interesting. Our day was calm and not too hot so pretty perfect all round.

We took my elderly mother back to Kawau Island for a nostalgic trip as she lived there in 1953. The people on the ferry could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They made sure the trip there and back included all her old haunts. Thanks to Robyn and Ian for the fabulous trip. You guys are awesome

We booked the cruise early as we had visitors from Melbourne & didnt want to miss out. The day arrived, the weather was terrible, after our beautiful summer this day decided to pour with rain. WE were the only four passengers to Mansion house, it turned out to be one of the best days of our holiday, Captain was fantastic, came & sat with us & gave a fascinating commentary on Governor Grey his life & times & the surrounding bays & inlets. Mansion House was interesting, we were the only people at the cafe, had a lovely freshly prepared hot lunch, friendly staff all the way. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, we chose a day with great weather. The commentary was very good and interesting. The Mail was dropped off at several wharfs and the bays were gorgeous. We opted for the barbecue lunch which was steak or salmon, with salad, dressing and ciabatta bread roll and a soft drink. We managed to get a Grab One voucher and felt we got good value. All staff pleasant and friendly.
